most of the dashboards I have seen suck. In mine is one of the best ones I have seen. The km can be changed to miles and the rest can be fixed but no reason to sell the car. I don't think it would have made a difference buying from a dealer, just the price tag would be different. What else is wrong with the car? |

Actually the Testarossa is my second Ferrari. I bought a Mondial but sold it right away. This Ferrari was going to be a keeper. I bought it private otherwise I could hold a dealer liable. I am finding that buying a Ferrari is not like buying a Corvette. You get what you pay for - there is no such thing as a cheap Ferrari. Because when you bring it up to speed it just cost a bunch more. |

Why do your earlier messages say that an '89 Mondial T was your "first" Ferrari -- just curious... |

Sorry to hear about your problem! Did you buy from a dealer of private party? Caribe. |

I just bought my first Ferrari and it looks that I got burned. My instruments are in KM and the dash just doesn't jive in looks or alignment. Further investigation reveals that the original bolster supports were cut off (yep the frame members)and this may be a 512 dash. So if anyone knows of parts or a fix to my problem I would sure appreciate it. Or anyone want a TR cheap??? |
