Rob...from what I understand, this will be the last year for 355's to be able to participate in the Challenge Series. You might be able to pickup a good deal once the season is over. |

It's hard to see, but the 348 C I was talking about is the yellow one in back... http://209.196.179.161/discus/messages/1121/1171.html?990721480 |

That 355 is in great condition, but way too expensive and not Challenge spec, it's like a F50 beater. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. The 348 C is a great car, but they want too much for that also. I put the first bid on it, but I know thier reserve is probably $70k plus. I've already located several 348 C cars in the 40's and 355 C cars in the 70's. A raced Challenge car like these should bring 10-20k less than street cars. Although there are the really good condition C cars that haven't seen any racing. I've done a car show with this factory (1 of 50) 348 C cars that is like one of the best 348's you'll ever see. He's a user of this board, maybe he'll post pics. |

Rob, I will have a 1998 355 Challenge for sale in about two months. This car has 3000 miles on it and has won a number of Ferrari Challenge races. It is a front running car that has a VERY strong engine. It is fully challenge-spec. If you want more info, I will be happy to share. I leave tomorrow for a week in Italy. I will be taking the factory tour I will look for your response when I get back. Take care. Paul Prideaux [email protected] |

I'm not looking for the perfectly cosmetic car that usually brings high dollars. I'm looking for a racing and track event Ferrari that runs well, but is cheap because it might not look perfect. I would race the 348 C in SCCA ITE or NASA. The 355 C in SCCA T1 or SP. The 308 would need to meet either SCCA SP or GT-2 regulations. Please e-mail. Thanks. |
