italiancarparts.com also had them for about $50 a pop. Skip to the bottom and look under other parts by make and model. - JMG |

Sorry, I've been up in Maine since last week. I paid the same. It's not that you can get other keys that work. He also cut me some of the newer keys so I would have extras. The point for me was to have an original hinged key, so I paid the price because he bought out the remaining inventory. With shipping and the work he does, it's not that bad. John |

I have received a copy of the ignition key from my locksmith with no problem. $1.50 and I was on my way 2 minutes later. Is not the nice key but a replacement. |

Most Fiat and I believe some Saab key blanks will work for next to nothing in price. I personally could care less whether it has a horse on it. |

I contacted Mr. Pelkey and he said he would make me one ignition key and one door key for $140. Does that seem a little steep? |

Pauli: I have a 328 GTS and I was able to get new hinged keys from: AUTOTEC Tom Pelkey in WI. 262-797-9988 or 262-255-9830 He also has newer keys that look great with the prancing horse on them. I purchased several keys including door keys. You send him a photostat of your original key and he can make the new one. John |

Blanks are on Ebay from time to time. If you just need spares, a Fiat blank will work. |

I'm told you can replace the door key at any locksmith, but the hinged ingition key is not going to be cheap or easy to find. |

Ignition key with the hinge (that's what my 86/87 models owner's manual shows) and the small plain metal key for doors and glove box. |
