Thanks Erik. You precisely defined the number and location of the fasteners behind the indicator lights and I can see the fasteners over the fuse blocks. Can you tell me how many and under which vents the others are located? Bill |

Remove the 4 indicator lights to reveal 4 screws(typically phillips head) to remove the gauge panel. This is most easily accomplished by removing the steering wheel(use a brand new or very high quality alan wrench as these are tight and can strip) |

Dr Cosgove, did you ever figure out how to access the fasteners behind the gauges? Bill |

I just viewed a dash from an 82 308 which was apart for a freshening. Any upholstry shop could easily recover it, as it is simply folded over the edges and glued. A non upholstry person could accomplish the task with some patience. Remove the dash via screws in various locations- behind gauges, over fusebox, under vents. |

I need help! the dash on my 84 308 needs recovering. I cannot find any in my area (Birmingham/Atlanta)that can offer any practical assistance. Does anyone know who can do this and how to go about getting it started? (ie can I pull the dash and ship it or do I have to deliver the whole car?) |
