Todd,

If I'm not mistaken, the trim is long on purpose so it can be cut to exactly fit during installation.

How much larger is the radius? Can it be bend to fit?

I got the windshield and trim from ferrari.uk. The windshield fit great, and they were great to work with. From the begining, they have been willing to assist me in resovling this, I just need to get some digital pics together of the trim pieces to illustrate where and why they are not fitting.

Installing the trim is the hard part, it takes hours even for those experienced with Ferrari, alot of hand fitting

I'd take back the windshield and have it done right the first time, the trim on 308s fits flush an after market rubber will stick out like a sore thumb and also may make whistling or wind noises if its not perfectly flush.

What brand is the windshield?

I'm not positive that it's OEM, and it the new one that didn't fit. Unfortunately the old one was trashed because I had a new one.

The shop is recommending a generic rubber trim that will work in its place.

Are you sure it is an OEM windshield? I need one for my GT4 and was told that the aftermarket ones are not made to fit exactly. Either they are too big or too small. Are you using the old trim? It may have expanded once removed.

I purchased a new OEM windshield and trim from a reputable suppliier, and I took it to a reputable shop to have it installed. They said the black metal trim would not fit. The radius was to big on the corners and the side were an 1-1/2" too long. I went in today and they showed me what they were dealing with, and they seem to be right. The windshield fit perfect? Anyone else have issues with this kind of thing.

Thanks
