Peter B. -- On the 308 2-valve air injection nozzle (PN 108205): the thread that goes into the cylinder head is M14 x 1.5P the thread that connects to the air injection manifold is (an oddball size) M13 x 1.0P (and the length is 8mm) -- good luck (you'll need it ) |

Peter I had one that went south (I don't recall how I messed it up, but I did) and bought a new one from T Rutlands. $75 I think. 14 x 1.25 sounds familiar, but check with Chris or Mike at Rutlands, they'll know. |

I've had alot of help here on this. So thanks to all who responded to the other thread! Before getting stuck with a thread repair on the front bank due to a seized air nozzle...I'm going to wait until the car is down for a spell before attempting to pull the air-nozzles out of the head. For now, I simply want to cap the air-nozzles as they rest in the heads, removing the air-manifolds and other equipment. The question of the day, what is the thread pitch/dia of the male end of the air-nozzle that connects to the air-manifold? Does anyone have a nozzle I could get my hands on to determine this? Permanent or temporary loan??? Thanks '75308GT4Peter & Terry S. for your help with the head plugging advice. |
