Thanks Bill. Sorry Jeff, your link didn't work. Yes, I am checking how much it will cost to do both, this way I can see what is best for my money and horsepower. |

Search the archives, I dont think you can just bolt in a 328 engine to a 308, you need the transmission, the microplex ign and I think you need to make mods to the cooling system also to make it work. It would be cheaper to mod your engine with high comp pistons, go to carbs and do some head work Also check for Jenkins.org? he has several service manuals you can download for free. |

Muteki, As far as I know, they never made a workshop manual for the 308 GTB/S cars. The only game in town is the GT-4 workshop manual. The GT-4 manual is available online at: http://www.ferrari.stevejenkins.com/books/ |

Ok, as some of you know I have a 78 308 GTS. I am currently deciding if I want to rebuild my current motor or install the QV or 328 motor. I have been looking on Ebay at these CD serive manuels, has anyone ever check one out? Are they any good? If not, where can I obtain some serivce manuels without haveing to spend $150 each for them? I would like to get the 308 GTS manuel for the car and the QV or 328 for internal engine componets. I would prefer on disc, so I don't have to have allot of storage space. Thanks guys. |
