Again, just to state the obvious, since the Gottis are not factory, might not be a bad idea to verify their offset to see exactly what you are working with.

I've installed 7" wide 35mm offset wheels and they sit a wee bit outward as compared to the stock TRX wheels.

Others have reported that all Mondials use +55mm wheel offset (but either way it needs spacers/adapters) -- you did the "Mondial wheel offset" search? |

86 Mondial ~38mm offset
83 GTS ~11mm offset.
They'll fit, but you'll need some thick wheel spacers. |

The bolt pattern is the same - depends what the Gotti offsets are. If they are correct for an 86 Mondial, then they will not be correct for an 83 GTS.

Can anyone tell me if 17" Gotti wheels from an 86 Mondial will fit on a 83 308GTS Quattro?
