For test pipes, the sound is better with resonators than straight-through test pipes. Stebro makes the resonator pipes.

I will look into Nick's set, but I would like something that I can use stateside too. I am planning to move there next year and I don't want to have to purchase cats again when I arrive. Ahh, maybe I'll end up getting both, so I can switch them out between inspections...heheeh =]

Muteki,
If emissions are not a problem, go with test pipes from Nick's Forza Ferrari; cost around $200.00. I had gutted cats on mine when I got it and it sounded "gruffer" than after the test pipes got put on, but the exhaust flows more free now; no turbulence as a result of the expanded area that the gutted cats provided. With the Tubi exhaust I can still set off car alarms in parking garages :-)

Ok guys, since my mechanic is putting my 308 motor back together, I am planning to change the exhaust since its almost dead. While I am doing this, I would like to change the factory cats to something high performance. Mine are fine, but I hollowed them out long ago....NEVER do this to a Ferrari, it sounds like cr@p!!! Yes,It was faster and felt like more horsepower, but you get a backfire once in a while and it is NOT what you want. I would like something that gives it a more of a factory sound, but less restriction. Emission controls are not a problem where I am, but I would like something that will meet emmissions in the US, since I might be moving back next year. Does Tubi or Borla has an exhaust system that includes high performance cats or do I have to buy them spereate? Any input would help. Thanks.
