Yeah I would guess that 275 is too wide for a 9" rim. I just sold a set of speedlines with 275's on them and they were 10" wide. Looked just right.

Thanks Jim,
I put oversize Goodyear Eagle GS-D3s(275x40x17s) on the car and the handling went away. It's like the car has to flat tires in the rear. I'm thinking they are too wide for the rims causing sidewall rollover. All the reports I've read on the tires have been very positive so I'm betting the size is making the car "wierd".

I got those sizes off an ebay auction. I am sure the rims are correct, but tires could/are probably add ons. Sorry for the confusion.

Jim,

The information I have for the front tyres on my 348ts is 215-50-ZR17 - did they change this on the Spider?

Paul

Does anyone know the rim widths for a 94 348 Spider?
