Paul, you red car has 16 years of paint fade, which they don't take into consideration when they mix the stock paint code...
My recomendation would be to drive your car to any pro paint store, for example, some O'Reilly auto parts stores have a pro paint area.
They can then do a multi-angle reading from your car, and then computer match the PPG, or whatever brand paint they carry, to exactly match the 16 year old paint on your car.
Then have them mix up how ever much you need.

paintscratch.com/ can be used for the paint, though on my 308QV I've used Toyota touch up paint from AutoZone... perfect match, for my car anyway.

But regardless of which touch up paint you get, you'll want to get a kit from Langka.com to eliminate the blobs and make the touch up just above invisible.

I have a few paint chips to attend to on my 1987 328 and need to buy some paint. My color is Rosso Corsa and I am planning to buy by mail order, so that means I will have to rely on the paint matching.
Can anyone recommend a good source of paint ? I was thinking of buying the pen type what's your experience ?.
thanks for the feedback !!!!!
