Greg: It's a standard OBD II reader for all of these cars...nothing special. And, once the MIL light is on, just driving won't do it...and neither will disconnecting the battery. You need a reader. |

I tried that and it did not go out. I really think that on a 355 the light stays on until it is downloaded. Anyone know different? |

This is a long shot but it works on my Porsche , If you disconnect the battery for a few minuts this shoud do it and the light should go out . Good luck . |

That's what I thought but I was under the impression that the OBD II reader in general is a 5 pin connector and the rest of the world uses pins 1-4 while Ferrari uses the 5th pin. Please don't tell me I have to drive 2 hours to get this light to shut off? Thanks Bill and Mike for your input |

Greg: And after you reposition the 2nd 02 sensor both sides ( I can't comment if this will work or not) then you'll need an OBD II reader to reset the Ck Eng. Light...it won't go out by itself. MK |

Hi Greg Did you remove the second o2 sensor afer the cats ? This sensor should be open to fresh air and its hole in the pipe plugge. I had the same problem on my Porsche . |

Yes, I know this subject has been talked to death but I need an answer. I have a 99 that I de-catted 200 miles ago and have had no issues. However, I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic last weekend and the light went on and will not go off. So, I realize given no loss of performance that it is more than likely an 02 sensor either working well and picking up the differences downstream or I have a dead sensor. Is there anyway short of going to a FNA dealership to resolve? Thanks |
