Finally got around to rejetting the carbs on my 79 308, went with .60 idle and 1.40 mains. All the emission stuff is off the car, cold drivabilty is improved and almost feels like it is pulling better at high RPM. Also installed BP6ES plugs replacing the Champions I put in last fall. Replaced the thermostat too, was hoping the old one was stuck a little open and that was why it took a while to warm up, but that was not the case. All in all time very well spent. |
