The original material is perforated leather. If you want your sound system to improve, you instead want to change it over to dyed-to-match regular speaker grill material -- that alone will make a big difference. I've done mine, and didn't lose any points for it at concours.

What type of material is it? If it is just fabric, go to your nearest fabric store and get a square yard. |
