Thanks everyone - Dave E., tell me more. How can I get mine done? What is the cost? Perhaps we can go off line via private e-mail. Thanks. Jim S. |

Jim, I have a silkscreen already made for the white lettering . Price is very resonable and looks great. You need to have the black wrinkle finished done by a painter. Also it should be done very fine and not heavy because the silkscreen will not work with heavy texture. Dave |

james, i am having my ferrari/ufi re painted on my car aswell. it seems the heat just bakes it off. i think what is being done is a digital photo is taken , then scanned and then a silk screen is produced in the proper size. i wish i could be more specific. |

Here's a thought. Take a picture of the air box, then size the picture so the logo is "real size". Take this someplace where they can make a template for you......probably some computer printing place? Then paint the cover black, apply template.....paint white.......presto!!!!!!!! The trick would be, where one would have the template made. |

Has anyone a brilliant (meaning simple) way of painting the black wrinkle paint air boxes on the Boxer? Specifically, how does one repaint the Ferrari logo and associated technical information on the airbox. It is not a decal. Has anyone done this? Thanks for your help. Jim S.
