If you want fibre we have stock, a set of eight washers will cost $5 plus freight.

Thanks Malcolm. Tod @ Continental voiced the same observations about the washer material (but indicated they can't get the fibre any more.

Philip,
Just measured a new washer measurements are as follows :-
FIBRE and COPPER

O/D 17.85 mm
I/D 12.35 mm
THICKNESS 1 mm

Although both copper and fibre washers are available the were originally fitted with fibre washers, which in my opinion are better.

Putting the new venturis (chokes) into my 40 DCNFs. Anyone know the size of the copper/fiber washers on the fuel bayonets into the carb bodies?

Coachi...

Im sure I would run with just the stacks a few times just for the cool sounds, but Im planning on building a factory style cold air box and it will house a filter. The airbox seems fairly straight forward to have made.... but it will require the carb tops and stacks.

I may have a line on a set.... stay tuned!

Hi all.

Terry, sorry - nothing. We've looked before for these I think.

>>...and sparks would come out of the stacks...which scared me<<

FLAMES out the stacks are COOL !!! {:-)}

Fear is Cool, makes the adrenalin pump!

Of course when you tire of showing off the Flames to friends and curiosity seekers you adjust the carbs properly and they go away.

Terry, when I first bought my Daytona in the eightees, it had a set of velocity stacks...and the engine constantly backfired...and sparks would come out of the stacks...which scared me...so I bought the proper tops, found an authentic air cleaner, and installed that; sold my velocity stacks for some 1200 bucks if I remember correctly to someone building a replica (GTO maybe...can't remember too much time has passed). I love the car in its original state...and I am sure it runs much cleaner, as debris, dust etc don't wander into the stax...

Will second Philp's praises -
Could not find any 34 venturies anywhere in the Colonies, but Jeff had them in stock and they are on the way.

Thanks again

Jeff
Thanks for coming to my rescue.

All, I ordered 36mm venturis from Jeff on Friday afternoon (CDT), received today (Tuesday). Great service, Jeff, thanks.

Hi all.

We seem to have been getting quite a few carb enquiries of late so I thought I'd post a few pics for you all. We have a large quantity of Weber internal service parts.

Regards to all !
