Brent, That's correct and also a tip when doing this job, remove the oil temperature sender unit before removing the gearbox sump - it makes the sump removal easier. MW |

Just a point of clarification. Is this the seals for the shift linkage(from the gear shift) that enters the lower side of the motor/gear box that has a small rubber(almost like a mini CV) boot covering it? Mine is leaking alittle from that location. It sounds like with the parts from Jeff you access the linkage to change those seals by removing the oil and gear oil pans? Is that correct? Thanks Brent |

Don't forget that you will need to replace the engine and gearbox sump gaskets when replacing the shifter seals, also check that the dust seals which fit over the shifter rods are in good order, it's much easier to replace them now rather than later. MW |

It's a $10.00 part from Ferrari and there are 2 of them that need to be changed. They are seals and not 0-rings. Best to go to the dealer for these. |

Does anyone know the dimensions of the shifter shaft o-rings on the 308? I didn't find anything in the archives. Thanks, Stacy |
