I am sure buying an ECU on your own nickle is as much as a new Fiat, however, it was covered by the warranty. So far Ferrari seems like they may not have a lot of parts in the distribution system but they do seem to want to make it right and they have honored the warranty. So far so good.

Might be the engine ECU's. I was very upset when I had the same problem when my 360 was about 3 days old.

Hang in there... it will get solved.

Eli, I second Martin. That is likely exactly what it is. Literally takes 3 minutes. Happened to me second day with my car (albeit used 550) but ox sensor reset and never had the problem again.

Eli,
Don't sweat-it usually is an oxygen sensor-The dealer will attach the computer and will make the diagnosis in 3 min.Usually only takes reseting.

Dave,

Isn't the ECU and expensive unit?

My 'o2 did the same, the dealer reset it and then they changed the ECU and returned the car, worked well ever since.

My advise, the car's in warranty - have it looked at straight away by an authorised Ferrari dealer.

It's tough to read error codes via internet, I've tried. :-(
