As far as I know, all the OEM enameled metal shields have 3 screws on the back and an adhesive backing which mount to holes on a specific place on the factory indented fender. However, I am not sure if you are aware, there are plenty of reproduction shields you can find (actually, like Paul, some people at this site could hook you up with a pair) which have, as far as I know only adhesive backings, so you can stick em on your non-indented and factory-holed fender. I know some have chosen to have their fenders indented for mounting of the shields while others just stick 'em on without indents. (...and that's up to you of course) FYI, it is a somewhat costly task to have your fenders indented, but as I said some have chosen to do so for a more OEM look. One thing to be aware of though is that on the 360 the proper mounting area has a different curve on the fender, so make sure the shield you get is 360 compatible. I know the dealer has a different shield for this car, whereas on the others the shield's curve is common to all the other cars. Lastly, Ferrari sells high-quality plastic, resin-coated sticker shields for owners (and enthusiasts) to stick onto their fenders as they please, and you can take them off as you like. Some people on the board have taken these stickers and mounted them on magnetic sheets, so they can put them on and take them off as they please. And, from what I understand they stay put pretty well at high speeds. Hope this helps. |

If you're looking for the enameled metal shields, ala F40, F50 etc, they have pins. For proper fit, you'll need a good body man to indent the fenders to the shape of the shields. Also, there are resin coated shields which look very nice. They come with sticky back or magnet attachment. No body work needed. |

Anyone out there know if the Scudera badge has screws on the back or is it a self adhesive where it just sticks on. Is there a particular measurement that you are suppose to follow on the fender? Anyone that can give me any information on this subject, that would be great. |
