terrific adhesive for gluing stuff permanently is something called Cool Chem. Go to www.americansteel.net/coolchem.asp I was recommended the stuff, tried it and became a believer. Simply amazing. It will bond things I could not possibly stick together, or make permanent. Dave |

Leonardo: Mine was cracked on my A/C condensor fan (same parts as radiator fan) and the PO glued it with what looked like JB weld. It seemed to hold pretty well. BTW, if you need a fan blade,I bought an OEM one that I never used -- I would like to make a good deal to you. Mark |

Noticed today that two of the plastic spokes of the fan housing have cracked. Italian Car Parts has the fan blade/motor assembly ($289), but I just need the cylindrical housing. Is this part sold separately? Has anyone replaced their fan blade motor assembly? Looks fairly easy, two electrical connections, and screws securing the motor to the housing and the entire assembly to the radiator. Should I replace both housings, just in case the other one is close to cracking? |
