I have the Ansa Sports exhaust on mine and had it cermanic coated a silver/aluminum color and they look great. |

When new they were a silver / grey colour, the only exception was when a sports exhaust system was fitted as an aftermarket job they were supplied in a powder white finish.

I just purachased a used stock muffler system -
resonators and noticed they had a brown coating.
Not sure if from age or originally colored .I have noticed several Boxers with silver colored coatings on there exhaust systems they did when restoring but nobody knows for sure what the original factory color-coating is.My car came with an aftermarket crap exhaust system.
Any info would be helpful.
