My throttle is a bit "sticky" too. Thanks for the heads up on this, Rob. I'm checking it tonight. |

Thanks Rob, I was just about to post a question about the "sticky" throttle situation that I'm experiencing. I'll have to check out the debris and condition of the cable this evening. One thing I did notice is an accumulation of goop at the throttle body, thought I'd clean that up first and see if there's improvement. Works fine, but I have noticed a gradual increase in the notchy factor during bumper to bumper situations like you. |

Rob, A point worth remembering on 328's is to check the throttle pedal bearings, not only do they dry out, but also any debris / grit off the bottom of your shoes will find there way onto the bearing assembly. MW |

Had Norwood's order a new throttle cable and they replaced it yesterday. What a difference. Not only did it get rid of the fraying problem, but also the "sticky" throttle. Throttle feels very smooth and consistent now. Before, it was always interesting to be in bumper to bumper traffic as the throttle was so notchy. |
