I have a GTB, though a newer model. I have 1 small phillips head screw at the top of each trim piece. I've had mine off without a problem, using the procedure I described. |

Does anyone know how to do this on a GTB? |

Oh, for sure. Lots of little up front interior pieces are different GTS to GTB. Dome light, rear view mirror, and I'm sure the a-arm design is not identical.

...maybe a GTB is different than a GTS? |

Thank You, I'll check again, but I do not remember seeing a screw - it looked like it just fit in at the top??? Anthony |

Just be really, really careful and work slowly. The piece itself is sturdy, and can be bent into shape, but a flathead screwdriver that slipped would cause an unpleasant mark on the exterior piece . |

Remove the screw at the top of the trim piece. Pull the top out slightly, and slide up. The bottom of the trim has a hook on the back, which slides into a bracket on the pillar. |

Hi, My interior a-pillar trim piece on the passenger side(the metal piece covered with vinyl) is not quite seated properly. I would like to remove it and reseat it. I know there must be some trick to get this off (and on) properly without damaging the vinyl trim covering - any suggestions? (It's a '76 308) Thank You, Anthony |
