hi plip welcome on fchat. ... but the schedules of our public buses in zug are quite convenient though ;-) it's a pitty we still haven't met us yet! please check http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/funkyferrariowners , if you are interested to join our group of swiss funky ferrari owners, let me know. by the way, on sunday we are gathering for a drive around in the engadin (see http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/174013/316064.html?1063959588). trevi |

Hi Matt, same kind of 'nice' treatment here in Switzerland as well...you are not supposed to own one (it's illegal) no matter using it. Howevere, if i add up the amount of fines paid and the fact that i had to go with the bus for a couple of months, i will, after all, run the risk... Tks to everybody for the replies. Rgds Plip |

Don't know if it works but if you're in France and caught with one in your car, it's confiscation and a huge fine....... not sure about Switzerland though. |

Yes, i believe it works but you need to change the band. See http://www.valentine1.com/lab/mikeslabrpt3.asp Look at "H" as you want Ku band. Enjoy the Drive, Steven R. Rochlin |

Hi everybody, has anyone ever tried a v1 radar detector in Europe ?? Since i am slowly sick and tired of financing the police (i definitely could use to money for something better), i am seriously considering buying one, but does it works over here ? Or has anyone info on a reliable detector for the european radar and laser gun?? Tks for your reply. Plip |
