Lens,
Is there a problem w/the 12-spoke shroud you got from Dennis McCann?

Okay, good you checked first....still worth having around...I fixed a lot of stuff that I would have tossed out or replaced otherwise.

Dave, I spoke with a rep at CoolChem; he said he didn't think it would work for my application because there wasn't enough surface area for a good bond. He also said that the vibration from the fan could undermine the bond.

Please try http://coolchem.com amazing adhesive...you will be surprised at what this stuff can do....you may find you don't need to replace, except for cosmetic reasons. This stuff can make a bond so strong, it will break in another place before it will break a the original spot...

Thanks guys. I checked with Ferrari UK; they can order the 12 spoke design, its still available from the factory. I'll ask around on Sunday at the Fall Festival. See you guys then.

I think I'll epoxy the broken spokes until I can swap out the shroud.

Len,
I wish I could help but my car is currently at Brother Bruce's waiting out the storm. I'll see it again on Saturday but I'm sure you'll have your answer long before that. Good luck and I hope to see you again on Sunday.

Ordered and received a new radiator fan shroud from Dennis McCann (#60870300 based on '88 parts catalog). The new shroud has 12 spokes, the original only 6, which is probably why it cracked. Can I get a reading on which shroud you guys have in your cars? I think the 12 spoke design may have been a later upgrade. Thanks.
