this is not that uncommon. When you install or have the new one installed pay careful attention that the adjustment is not to tight and that it aligns perfectly.

Is this common? I did not even remove the roof recently but heard a louder than usual wind noise at speeds in excess of 140 kmph.

Tried the handle which fixes the roof to the body and it fell apart. Like stress fracture. Actually it is the bit with the rubber seal which fits under the windscreen rim to secure the roof down onto the car.
