You mean there are other sections(Heheh)!!!!

Seriously tho, JRV has supplied a lot of good advice to the Tech Q&A. It's unfortunate that he sometimes has trouble keeping his cool.

I am getting like Hans and am generally just concerned with the Tech and Vintage sections more and more.
Could Rob charge us less if we just stay on one or two (tech and vintage) sections? :-)

Due to time constraints, I seldom get to "General" or "Off Topic" anymore, and never to "Texas".

So what did I miss? Any pointers to the juicier flame wars? Like gawkers at a car wreck, I like reading the better ones for a little sick entertainment.

It was I who originally suggested adding certain URLs to the "banned words" list to make things more difficult for some individuals that were spamming the site. At that time, JRV was not one of them. I can't speak for Rob, but I'd guess that this had something to do with the flame wars going on in the Texas section.

As you can see, it's not a big deal as it can easily be circumvented.

Test #1
Test #2

Hmmm, these are allowed (and maybe now that I've put them up here, they won't be anymore...)

It looked like it was apparently just a bit of "bad blood" disagreement or competition between the Rob and JRV...

I think both are good references, but I prefer this forum.

I was attempting to direct a TR owner, asking for help in setting the mixture on his car, to the new site hosted by JRV, as this subject was discussed in great detail by a few very knowledgeable owners, yet this "message" came up....

Error
The following words are not allowed on this discussion board:
ferra"w"ri-talk.com
www.ferrar"w"i-talk.com
Please revise your post to remove the words indicated above

How does this exclusion of reference to the other Ferrari message board possibly help in the of sharing of information, is beyond me...

Are references to other Ferrari related boards excluded, as well?

This just doesn't sit with me very well...Sorry.

David
