I have 2 different brands on my QV also ( for the same reason) and have encountered no problems. |

I agree with Dave -- don't worry about it. Keep in mind your rear and front tires are already not identical -- their sizes/widths are different.

I have an 83 qv with bridgestone Re730s on it. My back tires are totally shot while my fronts are in good shape. My problem is they don't make the Re730 anymore. I heard you can get them ordered at Costco but not sure if they are mistaken. The guy from tirebarn told be the new tire is the Re750. So my question is can I mix the 730s on the front with the 750s on the rear. I really don't like the thought of having my tires mismatched but hate to waste the two good fronts. Will it affect my handleing? The guy from tirebarn said as long as the two backs were the same and two fronts were the same I would be fine. Would like to hear what you guys think. Thanks, Fred |
