F355 shock lower bushing is exact interchange for 348, and recommended. 348 Challenge bushings are good stuff, though the Teflon lining eventually wears, but can be recoated.

November is just fine. I can revalve your dampers as long as the top of the shock body looks the same front and rear. Later production rear shocks have a factory crimped top and are not servicable.

O.K. Rexrcr,

I'll have to get some dampners and springs from you. or revalve my bilsteins? But that won't be until november when it starts to rain. I'm having too much fun with the car right now to take it out of service for a much needed service etc. Unless it is easy as say buying some 355 springs and ???? I really have to do soemthing with my old suspension bushings. I think the 355 bushings fit and are much stiffer. The 348 bushings are rubber mush as are the 348 challenge bushings. Thats a November job too. I barely have time to get tires on before the next trackday.

Phil, upgrade in 1996 on the links.

Bob, yes, many parts do interchange.

I know you want a beter balanced chassis with higher cornering power. We've talked about it before. I have the set-up for 348, dampers and springs. Might even be able to use the dampers you own.

In general, ride height and rake information and methodology is the same for 348, details are different as far as specific ride height value. Follow my outline for your car. But if you keep the stock spring and dampers, you have a big compromise and roll distribution is way off.

Rexrcr,
The 348 is the wimpy brother to the 355's. However, is most of the 355 suspension interchangeable with the 355? Is it pretty safe to use 355c specs as you have outlined to improve the 348? The 355 has different springs and bushings etc. It would seem pretty easy to get an instant ride upgrade just by swapping parts. I hate experimenting.

Thanks Rob,

so did all 355 challenge cars come fitted with adjustable links then???? I know the 360C's all do.

The one (Aircon man) I've been working on has the fixed sealed swivel headed ones from a road car. My question was to ask if anyone had done a batch of L+R threaded converted road car type links....it's a fairly easy exercise to do.

Phil,

This is (was?) available through Ferrari. If no longer available, or cost prohibitive, try borrowing one and re-creating it. I don't have one now, but may be able to dig them up this winter.

It's a fairly simple standoff/ bushing with 10mm Heim joints and a short link in between.

Pete, read the sticker in the door jamb or owner's manual for tire presure information.

If you're doing track days, read my article here.

If this is not what you're looking for, start a new thread.

The spline adjustment is too coarse, by the way.

Anyone got or made adjustable length drop links for the Front anti roll bar for 355CH?

Trying to obtain better cornerweights, and ARB preloads when reconnected after.
