Yes, Mitchell, I would still like to purchase the 3 wrenches you described. I just sent you an e-mail as well inquiring about the details, etc. Thanks! |

Email's been sent... but hey, not to be greedy, I had put "dibs" on the tool roll before Chris if you look down in the messages. Posted on Saturday, October 04, 2003 - 9:15 pm: Mitchell, I'd like to take the pliers for $20 if that's not already spoken for. I'd also like the tool roll itself. I don't see Chris asking for it until 10 days later, Oct 14... but I guess I didn't reiterate it, so do what you feel is most fair.

OK Folks, I got the tool roll, here is the picture. I keep the small philips head screw driver for myself, everything else is available. Eric: you have the 3 wrenches, 8/9, 10/11, 12/13 Chris: you have the small flat screw driver and the tool roll. Mike: The pliers is yours. Everything else is available. Contact me at [email protected] for address of payment let me know your address. It is funny this tool roll has a single 14 open-end/boxed end wrench. My tool roll has a 14/15mm wrench.

In regards to the 328 spark plug spanner, a word of warning, I purchased one recently and it works fine. However, the A6G Champion plugs originally fitted are now being stated as replaced by a different number (don't have it to hand at the moment) BUT! the orignal plugs have the weird 18mm hex size and the new ones have the now typical 16mm hex. Result is the special wrench no longer fits and I have resorted to making one from a 16mm socket and bolt. I don't know if the other brand plugs such as NGK etc. have also changed to 16mm. |

The tool roll itself apparently hasn't changed since the original carb'd 308s. I suspect the empty slot is for the 'carburetor spanner' mentioned early in this thread. |

Greetings. I have a 328 and the (fairly stylish) tool roll has an empty slot next to the plyers. I thought I was missing a small spanner until I saw that Jeff's NOS roll has the same empty slot. Is it for something else? Or just an extra? Regards to all, Cliff. L.A., Ca.

So After all the raves about how responsive Jeff and Mark have been to everyone else, I am a little puzzled at the non-response I have been getting after I sent my order in (4 days ago). Did not get an acknowledgement even after a second ping. Hmm?? |

Yes, Mitchell... I'm would still like to purchase, at the very least, one of the smaller size philips screwdrivers and the following size wrenches / spanners: 8mm / 9mm 10mm / 11mm 12mm / 13mm And, perhaps more (if available). Keep me posted, and thanks again. |

Eric Eiland, Mike Charness, Chris Shenberger, Before I finalized the deal with Ferrari UK, I just want to hear from you (here or in an email) that you will go ahead with the piecemeal transaction. As it turns out, with import duty and shipping from UK to me, it will be $22 each. Shipping to you guys will vary but could not be all bad. Still game? |

Mark, I'm trying to figure out if I've got the correct spark plug spanner. The person I bought my tool roll from was unsure whether it was for a 308 QV, or a 328. MarkF, If it turns out that I've got a 328 spark plug wrench, I'll sell it to you for what the 308 wrench + shipping costs me. Since the 308 wrench is cheaper you'd save a bit. The spanner that came w/my tool roll appears to be slightly longer, with a slightly thicker neck between the sparkplug end & the u-joint. Hard to tell for sure whether it matches the photo. Would you mind posting a photo of the 328 spanner so I can compare to it also? Better yet would be a photo of the the 308 & 328 wrenches side by side. Sorry to be so unsure. |

Hi, Plug spanner for the 328 is part# 127590 - 28.60, it's different from the 308 plug spanner. I can't post any pics today, having a few problems with our camera again! If you want a tool kit for a 308, see my earlier posting, you can add the correct plug spanner and carb spanner (if required) to make the correct tool kit as the rest of it is the same between 328 and 308. Best Mark |

Jeff, BTW, Is there any difference between this kit & the kit for the 308 QVs & injected 308s? I'm under the impression they were the same. The kits for the carb'd 308s had a tool or 2 for adj. the carbs as I recall. |

Yes, Mitchell....I'm game for that! That would be perfect...and I really do appreciate your willingness to do that for me! I'll double check what's missing from the tool roll and e-mail you Sun. or Mon. with a list. Basically, I need just a few items but would probably be interested in buying the remainder of the kit from you. Will let you know very soon. Thanks again! |

Eric I can spring for one kit, and sell you what you need. Then I'll sell the rest on the web, or to other fchat members. Looks like there are 15 pieces, so each is about $20 a piece. All I need is one screw driver and the sprak plug wrench. You can have whatever else you want for $20 a piece. You game? |

Yup, f-parts-sex change has the screwdrivers...wow...might as well by the whole tool roll, take what you need out, and Ebay the rest...would be cheaper than buying individual screwdrivers... :-) |

I believe www.ferraripartsexchange.com sells individual wrenches (spanners) similar to the factory ones...made by Everest, or something like that. They also sell the orange handled screwdrivers, as well as the complete 328 tool kits. Like Mitchell, I just need about 3 wrenches, one screwdrive, and a red-handled 180mm pair of pliers to make my TR's kit complete again. Unfortunately, the parts book only lists them as a complete kit. Come to think of it, I might just order a 328 kit from Jeff at Ferrari.UK, since it is nearly identical, and use the old tools for spares.

Mitchell, someone posted a link way back on where to get the individual peices...shoot, I lost the link, this was over two years ago...and may not have even been on this site. They were not cheap, like $20 or more dollars each for the screwdrivers and open end wrenches...but they had them! You might try "google". |
