Ali, Thanks for the input. Just to clarify....it is OK that the tube is not connected to anything and it should hang down behind the wheel well? Thanks |

It normally should go off behind the expansion tank behind the wheel well area. aehaas |

While getting acquainted to the engine of my 99 Maranello the other night, I noticed that the overflow tube for the coolant expansion tank is not connected to anything (ie it just hangs down into the engine bay). Is this normal? The manual would seem to suggest that it is but I just wanted to make sure. This is probably a very stupid question but as a new owner I am very nervous about anything that looks out of place. Hopefully I will get over this paranoia soon - it is leading to too many sleepless nights!!! |
