Hi Brent- Yes, I think Paul mentioned in another thread about you as the US distributor. He gave this site to bookmark : http://www.dexmllc.com/ |

Sorry if I'm breaking any rules here, but you can get Paul's parts here in the US through me - DexM, llc. PM me if I can be of assistance. I think you will find the pricing to be competitive and you save on shipping and duty. |

Hiran, We recommend using a tiny amount of molybdenum disulphide grease on the gate edges. This will help immensely in the wear you are talking about on the standard gate. Paul

I just replaced mine with one from paul hill engineering and I think its a great deal. Dont know about the slick-shift gate though! one thing I have noticed is that my shift gate and lever have terrible wear between them. |

Knob replacement is about a 2 minute job. It's about the only thing I'm capable of mechanically. |

The stock Ferrari nut is a 17mm, by the way. Just hold it with a wrench and then you can twist the knob itself counterclockwise to remove it. The only reason Ferraris use the nut underneath is so that you can lock in the position for the shift pattern display.

I bought them from Paul Hill Engineering - He is a sponsor here & I also think he uses the board : http://www.hill-engineering.co.uk/homemain.htm Click on the Ferrari Parts Button on the left and then click for more details on the shift knobs. I also recently got the pedals from him & they look very nice! |

There's a 2-sided nut on the bottom of the knob. |
