My 308GTB has wheel #740592 as OEM.

You're right though that yellow one for sale has that thin wood rim. Pretty cool.

You guys shouldn't have posted the pictures of the steering wheels. The same guy with the Daytona wheel used your picture of the 330 wheel. What a skank! Too bad he didn't use your price as well. He might also have a dress that has an Enzo Ferrari stain on it for a good price.

Gee, did anyone notice the Daytona wood wheel that recently appeared on Ebay. The seller is in Florida and the starting bid is $1499.00. I'm sure glad that my Daytona has a leather wheel. You guys in the UK should start selling everything on Ebay since all of your good deals seem to be falling into the wrong hands! I wonder where that wheel came from?

Philip, I remembered your reaction to the "mislabeled" Nardi wood rimmed steeringwheel for the 308 a couple of weeks back. I am 99% sure that it was never a factory option, but check out this site: www.morganwest.net/marques/car1/precatalog.html
It shows a glass 308GTB in yellow with this steeringwheel. I dont think it looks bad either...

Just received wheel 740171, early Daytona wood wheel. The picture was good, but doesn't do it justice. A beautiful piece, already installed on my car. Thanks for the post Jeff. Keep digging up those old treasures.

Jay et al...

See the new thread about the connectors we can do.

Can't actually see any listed expressly for GT4 but you may make more sense from it than me !

Cheers.

Philip,
Good eye, but not quite. Actually there is a rare Daytona wood wheel in this collection, and I bought it immediately. It's mislabelled in this post however. Thanks for the post Jeff. I'm a regular customer of Ferrari U.K.

Jeff, just wondering about original connectors for wiring harnesses. Do they come with the pins or are they just the plastic connectors? I talking about the connectors for the headlights, inside the door panels ect. How about a few pics of the connectors available? Thanks.

Just a thought -

Is there anything else you'd like to see a list of with photos similar to these steering wheels.

Tell me what you'd like and I'll do some digging.

Cheers.

Carmine - we have run out of 136549 for the time being. If we get more I'll post them.

Jay - nothing for GT4 I'm afraid. Also the ones pictures with hubs come like that. I've photographed them straight out of their boxes.

Simon, sorry, no 400.

Regards.

Hi all.

Have been out of the office again !!

Jeff Edison - I answered your query relating to the 512 wheel last week....it must be lost in cyber **** land !!

Hi.

Thanks for the email.

Unfortunately I cannot say yes or no precisely as this mod is not something that we have tried or have experience of.

There could also be product safety issues by fitting a 512 wheel to a car other than a 512 !

Although we do not keep the 348 steering wheel I anticipate getting hold of one for you if you chose to go this route.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards.

Jeff,
The leather is peeling from the wrapping on my 348 TT steering wheel. I was going to have it repaired, but at these prices, I may consider replacing it.
I dropped you and e-mail, but haven't received a reply. So, I'll post my question here, publicly:
Will the 512M wheel bolt up to my 348 hub?

Thanks.

Jay,
Appears some come with them. My 328 wheel came with both a hub AND a horn button. I sold both on Ebay. Recouped about $70, plus sold my old wheel on Ebay for about $108, heck that new wheel only ended up costing me around $105!

Hi all.

Thanks for the + response.

Philip; I know ! But our system has that wood one listed as 308. It could be wrong but is generally reliable...

Ron; 512....dunno is the easy answer. I've not heard anything. Sorry we can't be more +

Dave; the one you had, 136549 I think....is now obsolete. The one shown here for 328 is an alternative which was originally offered. Maybe it's a different market or something.

Will see if I can dig some more out. If there any more to dig out !

Regards.

If I was not clear in my post; the wheel Jeff posted for the 328 appears incorrect. He sold me the correct wheel for my car, which matched the wheel I removed from my car. The correct wheel he sold me is in the picture posted below.

Jeff,
The wheel you listed for the 328 is different than the one you sold me (and was on my 328 originally), in fact it looks identical to the wheel posted directly above it. Here is the correct wheel:

Jeff, I asked this in another thread but maybe you did not see it. When will you be able to sell parts for the 512TR? Their last year of production was 1994. Will you be able to begin selling in 2004?

I agree with Phillip. The wheel on my 82 308 GTSi looks like the wheel shown for a Mondail (#116084).

These prices are incredible, especially when this company in Florida charges 500 bucks to restore one steering wheel...I wish you had a daytona steering wheel :-)
