I assume you mean that the light stays on permanently?
When this happened to my '90 Mondial T, it was intermittent and would go away if I turned the car off and restarted. The dealer told me that the system gets 'confused' sometimes and defaults to the stiffest setting. He claimed that this was improved in newer models. According to him the old system only sensed car movement in four directions, the newer one sensed 8 directions and was therefore less prone to confusion. The upgrade was going to require a new sensor in the front of the car plus new ECU. As this was rather expensive and the issue would go away for a week at a time, I didn't bother with this change. I wasn't able to confirm any such upgrade via my parts manual, so I can't swear that this information is correct. The workshop manual says that the fault indicator will come on if you start the car more than 3 times without moving it, or leave the key in the ON position for more than 60 secs without starting the car. I have not tested this to confirm.

One thing I *did* notice is that when I reseated all the fuses and relays in the fusebox, the problem stopped reoccuring. :-)

Hi the suspension warning light on my 1990 Mondial T Cab comes on every time I start the car. I tested the actuators on top of the shocks and all 4 of them cycle through there self test with key on engine off. Anyone seen any common problems on these systems. Thanks for the help.
