OK...after 1 week I finally got the head off. For anyone else that goes this route, I wanted to let you know that I beat and pryed on this for a few hours each day and wondered if it was ever going to budge. I started seeing the penetrating oil seep a little yesterday where the gasket was still bound. I can't tell you guys how good it feels. 2 snap on pry bars welded together an inch apart worked extremely well for me. I set them on a peice of oak resting on the bell housing and pryed up on the end of the head for the last few days. Just wanted to pass along my happiness. Thanks guys. |
