Hi guys, well, the heater fans have always turned pretty slow in my 78 308, hard to say if they turn slower/faster than the A/C fans as the A/c fans are in the cockpit and SOUND louder than the heater fans which are way up front. if you post a wave file, do it with the bonnet up and get up close to the fan.....................................................i'm a fan of the 308 for sure.............

I measured the current at the actual swtich itself under the main console (ammeter in series w/ switch in ON position and a source wire to the switch)... So this represented both blowers.

I might have to record a .WAV file and post it here, just to see if mine even sound like they're turning at the right RPMs. I seem to recall them turning MUCH faster (more like the A/C blower fan) than they are now...

Is that each, or for the pair?

Mine seem to work well, but, if used in conjunction w/ the A/C blower, makes the fuse hot. I've got to measure the current, but can't at the momemt. (Leaving town.)

I've had my 308 for a year and half, and though I can't be sure, I feel like the effectiveness of my heater blower motors has degraded in since I first got the car. The motors seem to turn slowly, and take a fair amount of time to spin up.

I'm getting a current draw of 5.4 amps at 11.9 volts.

Does this seem right for these motors? Has anybody ever measured this?
