Guys,

I'm now out of town but I PROMISE that I will post photos upon my return (Sunday), so early next week then for the photos.

I've had them in for a week now and I love them.

Bill, 76-79 window switches were in the arm rests and were fundamentally different from the window switches 1980-on. 1980-on on 308s, they were in the center console just behind the gear shift gate.

The swtiches, then, are different as well. Physically so, definitely. Not sure about in design--mine have 6 connectors on them.

What is the difference between the 79 and older switches and the 80 308?

All,

Jeff and Mark at Ferrari UK / Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. have window switches for our Carbed 308s.

I've researched many threads on the subject, and I never did find a source for the switches I was looking for.

I was very pleased with the reasonably priced (THANK YOU!) window switches. I installed them in 10 minutes, and call me crazy, but it's amazing the difference new window switches make in the "feel" of the car.

My old switches would stick "on" forward or backward, causing the motors to overload and quit, and the faceplates were cracked, so it's nice to have the new ones.

ONE difference: My "top plates" or plastic borders around the switch itself where it mounts into the arm rest, originally, had a white accent line around them. The switches I received from Ferrari UK did not have these borders, but I like the cleanliness of the all-black anyway.

Thanks to Jeff and Mark!
