James On mine there is a dipstick on the underside of the 17mm bolt described. Gearbox takes 4.25ltrs IIRC |

It is actually 17mm on 348's |

Mitchell, You are wrong. On the 348, it's on the driverside, near the CV joint. it's a 12mm nut and its vertical to the car. It looks like a holding bolt but it's not. |

There is no dip-stick. In order to check it, you 1. Jack it up on stands, level it 2. Crawl underneath, on the side of the tranny toward the rear of the car, you will find a plug. Open that. 3. If there is just a little weepage of oil, then it is at the right level. If not, you fill it up until it weeps. 4. To fill it, you need a hand pump.

OK, i give. Where is the fill/dipstick/whatever! for the transaxel case? i cant find and am getting frustrated. i have looked at the manual, BTW, just does not seem to match.... ARGUUUGHHH!!! |
