Thanks for that Mick. I already have a Euro 308 GTSi so am not in the market. However, you know how it is when something catches your eye. I would hate for someone to buy a 'ringer' thinking it was the real deal. As you point out, that is not the case. Be interesting to see what it fetches.
Mick.

Hi Mick.
This is a real Ferrari, don't worry. I have nothing to do with it, but for your information all EURO 308's until 1980(i.e. the carbed versions)had a single tip exhaust pipe originally. Many have been modified to a four pipe design(like mine),but this is the correct setup. Also note the absence of side markers, the louvres on the rear lid,the euro bumpers, the shape of the air-box on top of the carbs(not as square as the us versions)and especially the single distributor setup and the lack of emissions equipment(airpump etc.)I would say, if you are in the market for a RHD red GTS, this is a good candidate. It is hard to find one in an as original condition as this one. Even the 14 inch wheels are correct. Kind regards, Mick

I've just seen a Ferrari 308GTS on Ebay Number2437798000.
Is it me or is there only one exhaust tailpipe?
Is it likely that this is a standard for early models or is my suspicious mind working overtime.
Mick
