Not sure where in the world you are.

I would agree with John, if you pay a shop, you are looking at around $1500. Why not just spend the other $1500 and have everything done, to include all the fluids(brake, trans/diff, coolant) and valve adjustment and cam cover seals, distributor seals...then you are good for a while... |

Tensioners & belts are available for about $250 a set from T.Rutlands, George Evans, others.
(Belts are cheap, roughly $20 each.)

I got my belts & tensioners from T. Rutlands for a fair price, and the job can be done on a Saturday afternoon.
A good way to save $1300 |

depending on who/where the work is done, just belts and tensioners, i would have to say $1500 - $2200. factory tensioners sell for about $300 a pop based on what i paid for them from the dealer a few years back.

Does anyone know what I can expect to pay for new timing belts and tensioners installed on an 85 mondial qv?
The car has had major service within 7000 miles but I want to change just the belts...
