hi van.
The wishbones as far as we know have not been changed since the car was introduced. The inboard hinges are made from nylon and do not wear out as fast as the outboard joints which are PTFE lined. The outboard joints are spherical bearings as use in motor racing. To see if the bearings are showing signs of wear you need to jack up the car and put your hands at 12 and 6 oclock on the wheel in line with the wishbone joints and push in and out to see if there is any play. We are a company that distributes spherical and rod end bearings to the F1 and WRC teams. The bearings we supply have a stiffer liner which gives higher load values and longer life. We have been doing modifications to racing Ferraris this year by replacing the standard joints with higher spec ones. We have our own internal machine shop to which we do the work.

You need to send us the complete wishbone and we will remove the damaged joint, machine the wishbone to take the new bearing and insert top hats to give back the clevis width and replace the rubber dust covers. The upper and lower joints are different sizes, but we charge the same price to do the same modification. The price is 100 + vat. The carridge to and from us is NOT included. This is still cheaper than 500 for a new wishbone.
As a matter of interest the front and rear toe links are as per factory spec at 97.50 ea + vat. Carridge NOT included.
I hope this answers your's and Bernards question.
