I know we've beat this to death, but I had my check engine 1-4 light come on yesterday (not the slow down light). I searched FChat and found some good data, but what I was experiencing didn�t match my search. With my 348 there was a real lost of power, rough ideal and gassy smell. To me this meant something to do with fuel system or ignition timing. The quickest thing to check were the fuses and relays associated with the fuel injection system for the 1-4 right bank. As it turned out the relay was bad (found in the group of �step�, where the passenger places their feet, fuses and relays). Took out the old, put in the new runs perfect.
