I echo Verell's request. Plz post if you find out anything as I just spent $200/tire for Michellin's from tirerack. I was less than thrilled.

Philip,
If you find someone in England who will sell
AVON CR28s to a US customer, please post contact
info. Especially if He'll consider giving a group discount price to FerrariChat and FerrariList members.

Cooper Tires stopped importing Avon's TRX line into the colonies about a year ago.

Phil,

Simmons makes several models of three-piece modular wheels, and they know the correct offsets to use for the Mondial. I chose the FR model, 7.5 x 17 front and 8.5 x 17 rear for my 83 Mondial. They look great and I'm very happy with them.

For tires, I used 225/45 x 17 front and 245/45 x 17 rear Pirelli P-Zeros.

Have fun!

Philip QV in london do 16" 328 / 308 rims that will bolt straight on, 348's do fit but you have to use spacers

Philip,

Please do a search as this subject is repeatedly discussed to death here. I see that you are in England and Avon makes a tire that fits your wheels.

I have an 84 Mondial with Metric wheels fitted, It's that time again, replace the tyres. The original 240/55/390 (michelin TRX) are almost impossible to find and very expensive. Does anybody know what other wheels, Ferrari or after market will fit that are imperial sized.
