Have done mine, just pry it off. Replace with a new one. FYI, the vent on my car had closed so that one week after a track event it still had about 20 seconds of pressurized air to release... I vented it to a catch tank for a season, observed I'd had no exhaust of oil then just put a new vent on. No issues since. |

Don't know about the 85, but on my GT4, I just pried it off. Underneath is a spring and seal but the spring is pretty weak. |

How do I remove the small, bell-shaped cover from the gearbox vent on my '85 308? I get a little oil seepage arond it and want to install a small vent hose as others have done. Do I just pry it off or is there a trick? |
