PS: If you live in Atlanta and did not receive the same message below via e-mail, you are not on my "events list". Drop me a line. Also, please welcome Richard Gilmore and his '73 Dino 246GT to this site and our events. John |

Dear Italian car enthusiasts: 10:00AM, this Saturday, December 21, The Ferrari Club of America invites all Italian car enthusiasts to the Final Cars & Coffee event at The Race Car Store in Roswell. No fee, of course. Visit www.theracecarstore.com to see their fine product lines. The Race Car Store will be closing its retail store soon after the holidays. The owner, Ron Rizzi, says they will operate as a web-based company for about a year and will then evaluate whether or not to open another store. The FCA would like to show Ron our appreciation for providing another place to share and feed our hobby passions. If you have not been there, you need to see all of the Ferrari racing merchandise and memorabilia. And most of it is on sale! The Plan: 10AM - Get as many Ferraris and other Italian cars there as we can. I really want to see some Maserati, Lamborghini, Pantera, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Fiat participation too. We love you guys too! There is plenty of room and the weather man says it will be very nice out. Enjoy a coffee from Caribou Coffee in the same parking lot. Lets shoot the breeze, talk cars, and buy all of Rons remaining Ferrari Stuff. Ron has an award which I will give out to the most brutally mean exhaust note. Sometime between 12:30PM and 1PM, I figure we can rumble down the street to Winstons Irish Pub to have a bite and a pint. After lunch, I plan to drive around on some back roads for a short while and attempt to get lost. Maybe, Ill even have a better plan by then and you will want to follow me. How to find The Race Car Store/ Caribou Coffee: There is a map on their website, but the store is still a bit hard to see. Going North on GA-400, Exit Holcomb Bridge Road West (towards Roswell). In this area of town, this is also known as Hwy 92, Woodstock Road and Crossville Road. Keep going West, Cross Hwy 9, Crabapple Road and King Road. Take the second left after Home Depot and you will see Caribou Coffee. (You can also take the first left after Home Depot and then the next right. You will emerge in the correct parking lot). To Winstons from RCS: Go back towards GA-400 past King Road and then another mile or so. They are in the plaza on the right behind VanGoghs Restaurant. This is just before Crabapple Road and the BP Station. I am please to say that this is the second of three FCA events in Atlanta for December! Everyone had a great time at Ferrari/ Maserati of Atlanta for their Holiday Open House two weeks ago. Visit www.fca-se.org for New Years Eve at Chateau Elan details. All are welcome! Im still looking for event ideas and commitments for January and February.
