I had a blast! It was awesome seeing the development of IRL cars and the carbon fiber! We had a great showing of cars, I am so happy that the weather cooperated! GREAT Event John! Well done! Sorry I had to leave early, but looks like I did get the Porsche 993 Cab sold! |

Dear Racing Enthusiasts: Well, that was a close call... Due to some major personnel changes at Panoz MT, our tour plans almost slipped through the cracks (which is why this reminder is so late). We can all thank Dr. Panozs assistant for making it all happen for us. There might be some minor glitches, but we are still on for Saturday! They seem quite excited for true enthusiasts to see what they are up to. We had about 40 people RSVP for this event, including our friends at the Viper, Porsche, Corvette and Fiat-Lancia clubs. With the impending weather, this day might not be the sports-car show extravaganza we had hoped for. In any case, we will still meet as scheduled and have our fun indoors. Dont worry about which car you come in, we understand This is a family event anyway. At 10am Saturday morning, I will be parked as close as possible to the Chateau Elan entrance. If I chicken out and dont drive my Black Ferrari 328, I will be in a blue Explorer and will have a black & white BBS Motorsport umbrella (from when I built the BBS Wheel Headquarters next to Road Atlanta in 91). We will wait until 10:45 before leaving for Elan Motorsports and taking a final headcount for lunch. My cell number is 770/ 652-2273 if you get lost or show up late. Schedule: 10:00am - 10:45am: General Gathering at Chteau lan entrance to talk about cars and get a final lunch count. 11:00am - 12:00am: Tour lan Motorsports Technologies' Race-Car Division 12:30pm - 1:30pm: Lunch at Paddy's Authentic Irish Pub, Chteau lan (you pay) 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Tour Panoz Auto Development Company (Street Cars) 3:30pm - 4:00pm: Tour the Road Atlanta Racing Shop The FCA-SE website was down for a few days recently. I apologize to those I sent there to view the schedule. Anyway, we are back up! Log onto www.fca-se.com. If this is ever down, you can visit the Alabama Chapters site at www.fca-se.org for the same event schedule. Keep your eyes posted here for any last minute updates. Depending on the weather, I may or may not be in my black 328. Regardless, I will be in the closest spaces available to the Cheateau Elan main entrance. If not in the Ferrari, I will have a black and white BBS Motorsport umbrella. |

I'll be close to the entrance of Chateau Elan. I'm working on a rain contingency plan now which may be to meet at Elan MT. I will send an e-mail and post it here. |

I thought Frank's daily driver was his new Boxer! I assume we'd meet somewhere on the NE side of town, or perhaps at Road Atlanta. The website www.fca-se.com says to gather at Chateau Elan around 10-10:45am. I haven't met some of you guys so it might be hard for me to recognize your daily drivers. |

When we visited the Panoz street car facility last year cameras were allowed and encouraged. It was a great time. |

Jeff - I have no idea about cameras. Bring it and let them tell you no (like I did at the Ferrari factory before I signed a waver to allow them to permanatly confiscate my camera). As for the track - fagetaboutit. |

Dear fellow sports car enthusiasts, Please check out www.fca-se.com for a new FCA SE Region event posted today. We are doing a tour of Elan Motorsports Technologies (race cars), Panoz Steet Car Factory and the Racing Shop at Road Atlanta on Saturday February 15th. See website for details. All are welcome, including families! No fee. Rain or shine. Its not required, but Id appreciate an RSVP via E-mail so I can save us tables for lunch. I hope to come up with another short notice event between now and Feb 15th. Im open to suggestions for Saturday January 25th. Make sure you always check here at FC on Fridays & Saturday mornings. Our last impromptu drive was great! Please note my new e-mail address: [email protected] John Delvac Ferrari Club of America
