Des, I don't see how my research makes it lean in your favor. Anyhow, just got back from a couple of hours on the road here and around the Napa Valley...fun!!! I still can't believe it!! if I could make a bigger smiley i would. Now if I could only fix this pesky little leak from the back of the tranny, already replaced the seal, was good for a while, but showed up again today. This I already say how much fun i had today. |

OK, so I did a little checking myself on this whole triple black thing. It seems that the top is indeed the triple part of the black along with the lower part of the body. Example, my 348 is all black, black body, black interior, and black top and skirt (not sure if that's the right term but I'm using it anyway). As opposed to a car which could be red exterior, red interior, and black skirt. Or...I'm still a little confused...it was all so clear a minute ago. Not a big fan of the red interior anyway.

Matt, you can't count the tops as black, they don't come in any color except black, unless you have them custom painted...
Vince, LOL, i still think it would be triple black, but only because i think you can't count the top as a separate part of the car, as defined above... However, if you get black brakepads and let me drive it, you'll have black wheels in no time...! |

It is triple black. I know some f-chatters out there don't like the chrome wheels, but I like them. I better because a new set of wheels is out of the question right now...though I could get them cleaned and anodized black...hmmmmm...maybe not.
There is another picture in the showroom under 92_348ts. Pictures from my first drive with the car. I still can't believe it!! I'm sure I'll be taking many more pictures my other hobby is photography.

That's a ridiculously awesome 348 you have... i absolutely have no tolerance for black wheels on a car unless the car is triple black, which appears to be the case- your interior is black, too, right...?
