I've been wanting to visit some NC winerys this summer because I understand that NC wines are actually starting to make a name for themselves. I thought what better way to tour these then to take the top off the car and take a drive and see a few of them. Italian sports cars and wine. Seems like a good mix. But not too much wine.  Anybody interested? I plan to start researching soon. I think most of the winerys are in the Piedmont region so it would be centrally located for a lot of us here in NC. I'm just not sure how exciting the roads would be for driving. Any suggestions are welcomed. |
