did they finalize the rates for the events? the fca website still says prelim - just send the money Also why is it more expensive the beginning of the event (when nothing is happening) at the hotels than at the end of the event?? | ||

Thats a nice option to have rooms available at this late date. My first time there I had to stay in Gilroy, it was the closest available rooms. | ||

I go to Concourse Italiano every year. It is a must do in my book. Just being in Monterey ( one of my favorite places on earth ) with all the freeking cars that are there is crazy. I like to go down to the Double Tree on Thursday afternoon as they are unloading cars for the auction. You can get quite an eye full there. Also a drive down to Big Sur is incredible. Every car going North is an exotic. Two years ago I passed about 6 Diablos parked at the side of the road, and a very pissed off Highway Patrolman was waving his ticket book in the air and yelling. The next day at the concourse I asked a Diablo owner if he knew what had gone on there. He just said that he heard that some Diablo owners were in deep ••••! | ||
