I live near Danbury and Highway 89 came to mind when I saw the topic of this thread. I didn't think it would be the one suggested since I don't see many Ferraris come through this area. It is a fun road, but there are a lot of deer in the area. | ||

My girlfriend and I went for a ride this past Friday. What a beautiful day. I took some of the roads that I mentioned in the NC Winery thread and lo and behold was Highway 89 a complete blast. Take Hwy 89 up through Meadows and then Danbury. West of Danbury you'll be treated to all kinds of twisty bits. This is a mountain road without the mountain. It was great for me but my girlfriend got a little car sick from all the twisty bits.  Try it, you'll like it. |
